The percentage is not a scientific probability. It simply creates a before-and-after reference so that you can compare your expectation with your experience.

Step 2: Design the smallest useful test

Step 3: Notice your safety behaviors
This is one of the most useful — and easiest to miss — parts of a behavioral experiment.
A safety behavior is something you do to prevent the feared outcome or protect yourself from it.
For example, before asking a question in a meeting you might rehearse it ten times, apologise before speaking, avoid eye contact, speak unusually quietly, or immediately explain why you asked.
